So uh, hi everyone. I'm Jordan! :)
I figured with making a blog and all it should have a purpose other than to take up space on the internet. Since it's past 3 am, I'm going to be brief but still explain why this blog even exists. I'll start with the fun and less serious stuff so this post doesn't put you to sleep.
Being the tech savvy nerd that I am, I figured a blog would be a great place to give out advice to those who aren't so tech savvy. In particular, it would be fun to give out consumer advice so people can get what they need without breaking the bank. I'm sure I'll do some other tech articles here and here as I find interesting little things.
The main reasons for this blog aren't quite so superficial. I'm no activist, but as a Christian I have a hard time sitting back when I see friends of mine leave God behind and live a life of unhappiness because they feel like they can't have a relationship with God without being an intolerant fundamentalist.
In case you hadn't already read the "about me", I'm also a gay man. And no, you wouldn't have any idea unless I told you. Now there's something you don't see every day; someone who's gay but yet is a Christian who loves God. The other reason for this blog is to outreach to LGBT people. So many members of the LGBT community believe the Christian Fundamentalist rants that God will never accept them and so they turn to Atheism or Agnosticism. But, this doesn't bring them peace, or happiness. What bothers me even more are the LGBT people who believe they are alone and commit suicide. You aren't alone, and God hasn't forsaken you. This is the main reason I made this blog. If it helps just one person who's struggling with balancing their faith with their sexuality, then it's served its purpose.
If you haven't guessed by now, most of what I post will likely be highly controversial, so the comments will undoubtedly be filled with flaming and trolling. I will try to reply to any intelligent comments, so by all means share your thoughts. Just don't be extremely rude about it :P
